Miami Metal Clay Artist Meeting Minutes March 23, 2011
The meeting began at 7:00PM Old News: Bernadette Reminded us of Jane Levy's Bangles class for April 30th. at Bead Me. Best Bead show will be at the Double Tree Merchandise Mart. Come by and man the MMCA table to meet and greet interested people who may want to know more about us. Bernadette will be giving a class there on silver metal clay toggles. This class is on saturday. The show is April 15, 16 & 17.

Metal Clay world Conference will be on July 14 to 16. The chapters display members' work. Bernadette will take our pieces to the conference. 2009 MMCA work is on the Home page of our website. Let's have a workshop before then and start bringing work to display by June meeting.

Come to FAD the Falls ARt District gallery night. Bernadette will be at the Ceramic League. There will be lot's of demos and a bus to take everyone around to the galleries. Wine, food and Almost Blue Band.
Phyllis Hains, our fused glass artist demonstrated how to fuse fine silver wire to make a heart pendant. Thanks, Phyllis.
Our next meeting will be Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at the “Bead Me” bead store located at 5704 SW 40th Street (Bird Road). Jane Levy will do a presentation of the Bronze Bangles class.
