MMCA Members $80.00, non-member $95.00 Please make full payment before or by March 23rd (our March meeting).This is a deadline as I need 30 days prior to the class to pay for the room at the Elks Lodge.
Make a one of a kind bronze bangle bracelet using an armature to build up on. Students will learn to size the bracelet to fit perfectly.You will wrap the armature with the clay using various techniques that Jane will demo. She will show you how to make your own texture plates and you will need to bring in your own(a variety would be great) texture plates and stamps. She will explain how to repair, fire, and embelish using the bronze clay. Jane will discuss and show you the whole process from start to finish. You can also make more than one bracelet time permitting. "I see this workshop as being a lot fun exploring, creating and sharing!"
they will fire their own pieces at home etc. (Jane can fire them at her studio for a small fee).
She will show you how to continue after the first firing with samples for each step of the way.
Jane will be using the regular bronze 200grams. Students will bring their own clay, and she will have some for purchase.
You may use other clay such as Fast fire Bronze, Copper or even silver metal clay. Jane likes the details that original Bronze clay gives, but other clays works too.
